AUG 22, KATHMANDU. The High Level Political Committee (HLPC) and the agitating 33 political parties including the CPN-Maoist have agreed today to hold the roundtable conference as an outlet to the country’s crisis.
At today’s talks held at the HLPC Office at New Baneswor, it was decided that homework on the process of the conference will be done within two days, Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Mohan Baidya told journalists.
Though the HLPC has termed it as an all-party meeting, the bloc of 33 parties has claimed that it was a round table conference.
Speaking to reporters, CPN-UML leader Raghuji Panta informed that both the sides would seek consensus on the issue of roundtable conference after holding an intra-party discussions within the next two days.
